I bought the aluminum baby stand from shape because I needed a slightly beefier stand for a project and I was BEYOND impressed. The thing is so well built that there's no way I'm not ordering another one!

i was looking for stands to replace my old American ones and found shapes.... I have a grip/lighting truck in Toronto and GTA and my clients love the shape stands.... they work great and cost far less than Mathews and match the quality. Being used on a grip truck, they see a lot of use, and can handle it with no issues. I highly recommend these stands.

I own a lot of Shape gear... like A-LOT, and this is one of my favourite pieces of kit... and it's a stand... a black aluminum stand. When it first arrived I wasn't sure about the giant red locking knobs - I thought they would be bulky and hard to pack/travel with but that's not the case - it makes setup faster and more secure with the big handles. Pros: Solid stand, sturdy, stands/stacks upright on its own. Cushioned stages, very tall with big payload. Aluminum = lightweight. Cons: Aluminum if steel (Matthews) is your thing. Seriously... a fantastic product. I will be buying more!! ~ Jay
