ENG Style camcorder baseplate (ENGBP)
The baseplate allows additional support for small camcorders. It is made of CNC aluminum and there is rubber padding on the top of the plate to give strong grip and protection to the camcorder. The baseplate allows you to position your camera rig in front of your eyes, while supporting it with your shoulder.The delta quick release plate on the bottom front and the rear catch hook will allow you to quickly mount and dismount your camcorder from a tripod adapter. The baseplate is designed with 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 threaded holes to mount additional accessories like portable lights and microphone systems. The baseplate can be paired with a SHAPE shoulder pad (ENGSM), a dedicated offset bracket (ENGOFF), or a SHAPE Paparazzi handle (ENGBR).
SHAPE Composite mini shoulder pad (SHPAD3)
The SHAPE mini composite shoulder pad is padded for superior comfort and is made of slip-free material. It is designed with a 15 mm rod block on top allowing to hold 15 mm rods for camera and accessories to be attached. The screw knob allows to attach SHAPE counter-weight (PAD1, PADCW1). By adding extra male-female rods at the back, you can also attach a counter-weight behind the same rods. This way, your body can easily supports the weight of the camera and its accessories. The shoulder pad is also the perfect solution for switching rapidly from shoulder to tripod without having to remove the shoulder pad. It can remain on the camera rig permanently.
Back pad (PAD1)
The back pad (PAD1) features a powder coated anodized aluminum plate and arm which are attached to a thick padding on the side facing the user. It is compatible with the SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad (SHPAD3, SHPAD2, SHPAD1) and can be attach or remove easily from your rig via a 1/4-20 camera screw knob. Additionally, the back pad’s position can be adjusted to the user’s preference – up to 2″ vertically and 360° horizontally. The bottom of the back pad is designed with (2) 1/4-20 threaded holes, allowing to attach other accessories or counterweights.
